Theme for 2017 was 'Where There's Muck There's Brass'

On behalf of the Carlton Show committee, I hope you enjoyed the 2017 show. This years theme provided the backdrop for a number of events, such as metal detecting for the children to find 'brass in muck'. A 'Day on the farm' themed fancy dress proved very popular, with some inspiring outfits.

The Harrold Calvados Society sold out of their bottled cider, which has proven very popular at recent Farmers Markets in Olney. We had a good supply of apples to press on the day with in excess of 100 litres of apple juice being extracted. Representatives from Bedford Brass, added a truly village atmosphere to the day along with some lovely folk music,

You can view some photographs taken at  the show by clicking on the Gallery key in the menu to the let. Many thanks to Gordon Bell for taking photographs on the day.

Thank you all again for supporting the show. Len Worrall will be taking over as Show Secretary for the 2018 show and I am sure you will give him the support needed to make the show a success.
